There is one very deep branded seat number on this frame. #34
Image: This is a canvas reproduction of a 1940s aerial photograph. The picture was taken between 1942 and 1949. We know this was taken after the first football season in Memorial Stadium and before the starting of construction of the Clemson House that opened in 1950. Look closely and you will see the the trail made when players ran down "the hill" after dressing in the "field house". Off to the top left you can see the tennis courts and the back of the "large gym". Between the stadium and Tillman Hall are the barracks and the fraternity quad.
Frame: Finished outside dimension is approximately 18" x 20.5". The frame is made from actual Cypress seat planks that were removed after the 1971 football season. The original planks were made from 2" x 6" Cypress planks. The planks in this frame have been split and planed down to approx. .75" x 4".
