Product Description

1940s "Memorial Stadium" aerial photograph (10" x 16") printed on canvas and framed in Cypress seat planks that were removed from the stadium after the 1971 football season.

There are three very nice, deep, branded seat numbers on this frame. #17, #19, #21.

Image: This is a canvas reproduction of a 1960 aerial photograph.  The picture was taken over "Death Valley" during the first Clemson / South Carolina game ever played in Clemson!  Notice the excavated area on the bottom right where Parking Lot 6 (The Cox Family Lot) is located today. The dirt removed from this site was used to build the dikes that protect campus from Lake Hartwell.

Frame: Finished outside dimension is approximately 20" x 26".  The frame is made from actual Cypress seat planks that were removed after the 1971 football season.  The original planks were made from 2" x 6" Cypress planks. The planks in this frame have been split and planed down to approx. .75" x 5.5".
